Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Cybora FZCO (“Cybora”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through the website cybora.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

Description of Services

Cybora provides threat intelligence feeds for firewalls and network security devices. Our services include:

  • Curated IP threat feeds containing known malicious IP addresses updated at regular intervals
  • API access for automated feed retrieval via HTTPS endpoints
  • Plain-text feed downloads in formats compatible with major firewall vendors
  • Free and paid subscription tiers with varying coverage, update frequencies, and support levels

Account Registration and License Keys

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or purchasing a subscription.
  • Each license key is valid for use with one (1) firewall or device only, unless otherwise specified in your subscription plan.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key and account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or license key.

Subscription Plans and Pricing

  • Subscription plans (Standard, Premium, Ultimate) are billed annually.
  • Prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to change with 30 days’ prior notice.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as otherwise stated in our refund policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share our threat feeds with third parties without prior written consent
  • Use our feeds in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive source data methodologies from our feeds
  • Use automated tools to excessively query our API beyond the rate limits of your subscription plan
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services
  • Misrepresent the source or origin of the threat intelligence data

Intellectual Property

All content, data, and materials provided through our services, including but not limited to threat feeds, documentation, website design, logos, and trademarks, are the property of Cybora FZCO and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our feeds solely for your internal security operations as permitted by your subscription plan.

Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

  • Our threat feeds are compiled from multiple sources and undergo curation processes to minimize false positives.
  • We do not guarantee that our feeds are error-free, complete, or that they will detect or block all threats.
  • Cybora is a supplementary security tool and should not be relied upon as your sole security measure. We recommend using our feeds in conjunction with other security controls such as IPS, EDR, and SIEM solutions.
  • Threat intelligence data is dynamic and time-sensitive. The accuracy of any individual entry may change between updates.

Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain high availability of our services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily affects service availability.
  • We are not liable for any downtime, delays, or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Cybora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Cybora in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
  • Cybora is not responsible for any damages, losses, or security incidents resulting from your reliance on our threat feeds.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cybora FZCO, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services immediately if you breach these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your license to use our threat feeds ceases, and you must stop using and delete any locally stored feed data.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
